Based in New Albany, Ohio, the site of Amgen’s new advanced product assembly and packaging plant. This role will act as a business partner, supporting the Amgen Ohio site in all cost per unit/cost of goods manufactured, budgeting processes, planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt, be agile and action oriented.
On-site presence at the manufacturing facility in New Albany, Ohio is required.
Providing financial support to various company functions with monthly/quarterly expense forecasting and cost per unit (CPU)/cost of goods manufactured (COGM)
Annual budgeting and long-range planning
Variance analyses and other ad-hoc support
Performs monthly or quarterly functional financial forecasting
Leads month-end accounting and reporting process
Provides recommendations and communicates implications based on analysis of deviation from budget
Develops performance measurements used to support management reporting and cost analysis
Facilitates business planning and decision-making and the modeling of various financial scenarios
Conduct business studies on current, future and comparative financial performance and develop analytical models
Prepare reports using tools like Tableau and Smartsheet
Additional assignments including, but not limited to: special projects support for business clients and FP&A leadership and internal/external audit assistance.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, or other technical area of study.
Or
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, or other technical area of study and 4 years of accounting or financial planning and analysis experience
Or
High school diploma/GED and 6 years of accounting or financial planning and analysis experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of basic financial and analytical principles
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Ability to multi-task and lead priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
Strong teammate with the ability to collaborate with colleagues on complex assignments

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
