We are seeking a strong, dynamic & patient-focused leader with broad experience in PSP management & knowledge of the Canadian PSP & access landscape to lead Amgen Canada’s Entrust Patient Services team and portfolio of PSPs. Reporting to the Executive Director, Value & Access, the Director, Patient Services will lead the strategic direction & oversight of Amgen Canada’s Entrust Patient Services to deliver value-add, differentiated PSPs that optimize patient access to Amgen cross-therapeutic portfolio products, and enhanced stewardship of patient care.

Role & Responsibility :
Provide strong leadership to define & drive the execution of strategic direction of Entrust portfolio Patient Support Programs and access services
Critically assess short, medium, & long-term external and internal strategic opportunities and create a strong strategic plan focused on identified prioritized areas for growth that will generate a differentiating customer experience
Drive prioritized tactical execution to optimize patient access to products, in collaboration with Commercial teams, in line with product life cycle management
Lead Patient Services team, and foster internal cross-functional & external partner collaboration to deliver PSP service excellence & optimized portfolio services based on a deep understanding of moments that matter for patients/HCPs along the patient journey
Deliver continuous evaluation/interpretation of analytics insights & evolving market dynamics to adjust the PSP service excellence to deliver greater patient/HCP satisfaction
Drive innovation, acceleration and expansion of Patient Services digital assets to enhance customer and patient journey experience
Develop plans in alignment with internal partners to enhance sophistication in end-to-end PSP journey analytics & reporting
Lead development of PSP sourcing strategy in collaboration with GSS, including RFP, contracting and negotiation with external PSP/specialty pharmacy vendors
Drive vendor performance & PSP productivity in accordance with vendor SLAs/KPIs
Demonstrate accountability to effectively prioritize, allocate and manage financial resources for portfolio PSP operations, financial assistance & free goods programs
Provide business owner oversight Entrust CRM platform & associated compliance/privacy safeguarding and ensure rigorous adherence to PSP compliance & pharmacovigilance obligations

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
5+ years of Patient Support Program Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
The preference is for a strong leader with broad knowledge and experience managing PSPs & high functioning teams in the Canadian market landscape.
Critical thinking and execution excellence skills
Strong people leader across multiple disciplines driving a performance based culture
Demonstrated commercial foresight & experience with strategic brand planning
Experience in overseeing PSP CRM (Salesforce) and Communication system integration
Strong knowledge of omni-channel communication principles and experience in leading commercialization of digital assets to consumers
Experience managing performance of external vendor partners
Ability to collaborate & work cross-functionally
Ability to prioritize, direct, and manage multiple interdependent complex deliverables
Exceptional organizational time management skills
Forecasting & budgeting experience
Demonstrated excellent, context-specific and adaptive communication and presentation skills across a variety of audiences and situations
Strong knowledge of regulatory, legal & compliance requirements pertaining to PSPs & pharmaceutical industry
Impeccable ethics and integrity operating in a highly regulated environment
